BlackRock has launched a new Equity Long/Short fund that will invest in emerging UK companies who are at the early stage of their life cycle, expected to have a significant growth. The portfolio will consist of about 150 companies, selected using a bottom-up, fundamentally-driven investment process that focusses on a company’s underlying earnings power. The fund seeks to deliver attractive returns with limited correlation to global equity and bond markets.
